Bolognese Bake

It’s Hump Day!

That means embarrassingly easy meal time after rushing home from a busy day! Here’s my uber basic Bolognese Bake.


Pre-heat your oven to 200c.

Heat a splash of oil in a frypan & brown off 500g of mince (I use chicken but whatever floats your boat). Season it well with salt & pepper.

Meanwhile empty a 340g box of dried pasta elbows into a baking dish then pour in an entire jar (700g) of passata sauce over the top. Bung in the mince & give it a jolly good stir to mix.

Smother the top with lashings of mozzarella cheese & whack in the oven for 20 minutes.

Feet up, wine in hand waiting on Chompin Time!
